Campaigns

You can create campaigns to engage your customers on a one-off basis with one of the two campaign formats

  • 2x/3x points campaign - offering a special points earning ratio during a defined period

  • One-time giveaway campaign - bulk issuing bonus points or a grantable reward to a selected group of customers

This article will explain how to set up the former , 2x/3x points campaign

2x/3x points campaigns

Running 2x/3x points campaign is a great way to drive sales to your online store by offering time-limited bonus earning ratio to customers at different loyalty tiers.

OMNI allows merchants to setup time-limited bonus point earning campaigns themselves on the admin console

Accessing 2x/3x campaigns

  1. Click on Campaigns from the side navigation menu within the app

  2. Select "2x/3x campaigns" on the tab on top

Navigating the interface

  • Live - will display a summary of the currently live point earning campaign

  • Scheduled - will display a list of future campaigns, with the closest one displayed first

  • See past campaigns - will display a list of campaigns that have ran and ended or stopped

Creating campaigns

To create a new points earning campaign, click "Create campaign" on the top right and select "2x/3x points campaign"

You will need to fill in the following:

  • Campaign name - the name of the campaign that will be displayed on the admin's customer profile page and the customer's point history page (if a order is made during the campaign)

    • You will need to fill in all different language versions if additional OMNI supported languages are enabled for your online store.

  • Start datetime - the date and time your points earning campaign will start.

    • All time is set in the local time of your store's default timezone

    • The start time must be

      • before the end time

      • at least 10 minute from now, and

      • cannot overlap with any live or scheduled campaigns

  • End datetime - the date and time your points earning campaign will end.

    • All time is set in the local time of your store's default timezone

    • The end time must be

      • after the start time

      • at least 10 minute from now, and

      • cannot overlap with any live or scheduled campaigns

  • Point earning ratios - The currency to point ratio during the campaign period for each tier you have

    • For points - You may only fill in 0 or positive whole numbers

    • For currency - you may only fill in positive whole numbers

Note that all orders except for free orders will earn points as defined by the points earning ratio. No minimum purchase requirement must be met.

This means if you enter 2 dollars to 1 points as the points earning ratio, customer who spent 1 dollar will earn 0.5 points according to the ratio.

Once you're done, click save and the campaign should be in the scheduled campaign list and will be live when the specified start datetime comes.

View or end campaigns

You are able to view and end campaigns that are either live or scheduled by clicking on the "Details" button on each of the campaign.

Whin the detailed view, you will be able to see the full details of the campaign, including

  • campaign name and its language varaints

  • start and end date time

  • the point earning ratios for each tier

You will also be able to

  • end this campaign now - for live campaigns

  • delete campaigns - for scheduled campaigns

Note - Live campaigns that ended will be placed into "Past campaigns" while scheduled campaigns that gets deleted will not be shown anymore

Past campaigns

Clicking on "See past campaigns" will bring you to the past campaigns page, where all campaigns that have once been live and ended will be shown here.

You can click on the details of each ended campaign to review configurations of previous point earning campaigns run to help you plan your future point earning campaigns.
