Important things to note before you launch

After your loyalty program has been configured and is ready for launch, you should be ready to launch. But before you launch, you should be aware of the following important notes before you proceed to clicking launch.

Once you launch

  1. Certain settings would not be modifiable anymore

  2. Customer orders will begin to earn points

  3. Customers will be eligible for all loyalty program benefits

  4. Customers may be able to access your loyalty program on the storefront

Certain settings would not be modifiable anymore

A number of loyalty program settings will no longer be modifiable, including:

Point earning settings

  • Point effective period

Reward settings

  • Discount code prefix

Tiers

On a program-wide level

  • Adding / Removing tiers - cannot be modified without the assistance of our team. Current customers tiers might change after modifying this setting

On a tier level

  • Tier earning ratio - cannot be modified without the assistance of our team

  • Entry and maintain spending requirements - cannot be modified without the assistance of our team. Current customers tiers might change after modifying this setting.

Customer orders will begin to earn points

For any new orders placed after the loyalty program has been launched

  • Points will be earned for the customer based on the tier's point earning ratio of the customer

  • If your loyalty program has multiple tiers - these orders will also be counted towards the customer's spending progress to reach the next tier or maintain in the current tier

Customers will be eligible for all loyalty program benefits

Existing and new customer accounts will be gradually processed to join your loyalty program. Once they have joined, they will be assigned to the default tier of your loyalty program.

Member benefits

If member benefits are available for your plan and you have it activated, customers may begin receiving the member benefit you have setup for the specific tiers - including:

  • Welcome benefts - upon having an registered legacy customer account on your store.

  • Tier benefits - one-time benefits upon entering a new tier or always-on benefits for being a member of a specific tier

  • Birthday benefits - one-time benefits upon entering the birthday month or always-on benefits for the whole of their birthday month

Redeem, receive and use rewards

Customers will be able to redeem rewards from the loyalty program interface with their points earned. They may also be eligible for grantable rewards issued to their account.

Campaigns

Customers will also be eligible for campaigns you run, including:

  • 2x/3x campaigns - Earn points at a special ratio during the defined campaign time.

  • One-time giveaway campaigns - Get reward with points or a specific reward.

Customers may be able to access your loyalty program on the storefront

Assuming the following items are completed, customers will be able to access the loyalty program UI on your storefront

  1. The relevant app block and app embed widgets have been setup - either on your theme or your customer accounts configuration profile.

  2. The theme with the OMNI account page and main widget setup has been published as a live theme and/or if the customer accounts configuration profile is active

  3. For existing customers - the customer import process has been completed*

* Customer import is initiated the moment you launch the loyalty program. Only imported customers will be able to access the loyalty program interface after logging into their account. It may take a few minutes to a few hours depending on the customer size of your store..
