Trial and subscriptions

OMNI Loyalty offers a number of different pricing plans that is designed with features thatwill merchants of different needs. You are able to see the available plans and manage your billing within our app admin on the "Billing" page.

This article highlights the expected behavior during the trial period and when you subscribe or change to a new plan.

Trial

During the trial period

When you install our app, you will get a 30-day free trial to make sure you have ample time to set up and try our features.

You are automatically given features on our "Essential plan" when you begin your trial. If you need access to features on a higher plan during the trial period, you can reach out to our team to activate additional features during the trial period.

After the trial expires

When the trial expires, you will have to subscribe to one of our plans to conitnue using OMNI Loyalty on your store. During the period that the trial has expired and no active subscription is found:

  • OMNI Loyalty will be hidden on your storefront and;

  • You will not be able to perform operations in the OMNI Loyalty admin

  • However, the loyalty program mechanics will continue to run so no data is lost when you activate your susbscription

Subscribing / Changing plans

To subscribe to or change to a plan, select one of our plans in the Billings page and approve the subscription to subscribe to the new plan.

If none of the plans meet your needs, we also offer custom enterprise plans upon request. Contact us for more details.

If the new plan has features you don't currently have access to

Features available in the given plan will automatically be given to your stores upon successful subscription.

If the new plan does not have features you currently have access to

You will be prompted to confirm the lost features before subscription. We will surface a list of features that is not available in your new plan.

Important

If you are actively using the following features that will cause a large impact to your customers if directly disabled - you will be blocked when trying to subscribe to a plan that does not have this feature and will need to contact our team for assistance.

  • Standard VIP tiers - If you have more than 1 tier active

  • Custom VIP tiers - If you have any custom VIP tier active

  • Advanced program settings - If you have a non-standard program setting for tier expiry and point expiry periods

When you confirm subscription to the new plan and lose the mentioned features

  • You will no longer be able to access these features immediately.

  • Any API or app integration will immediately be paused.

  • You may need to set up these features again if you subscribe to another plan with these features later on.

For specific features, additional handling is applied to your active settings when you lose access to the feature. Please see below for more information.

  • Multi-language: All user defined copy will only display in your default language selected in the app's settings.

  • Points campaign: All active campaigns are terminated immediately. All scheduled campaigns are cancelled.

  • Advanced membership benefits: All active advanced membership benefits are disabled immediately

  • Paid membership: All active paid tier/membership entry rules are disabled. Customers already within the respective tier or membership will remain until they expire

Please make sure you are aware of the impacts before you confirm to subscribe to a plan without existing features. We may not be able to recover your previous data or settings once the action is completed.
